Well, we all have our favourite Indian restaurant and the Viceroy in Hadleigh, Essex is mine. Cosy booths, consistently friendly and attentive service, and fabulous food. Some of the menu highlights are:

Please note that this restaurant is now closed and is now Village Indya Indian restaurant – to see my new review of Village Indya please CLICK HERE)

Balti Royal Dansak with chicken tikka. Sweet, sour and hot with a balti touch to it

Banglore potatoes – great if you like hot food – Hot and tangy and comes with chilli seeds on top!

Tandoori king prawn Korai

Super tender tandoori chicken with salad

King prawn on bhaji

And the best naan’s around – we have garlic medium well done, as we like it a little crispy.

The beer is always cold and nothing is too much trouble for the guys at the Viceroy. Highly recommended!
