Yes, Olly got through to the final 10 in X Factor.

On Saturday 16th October 2009 – Olly Murs sang a diva song tonight on X Factor and wowed the judges, audience and us at home!
(get all the latest on Olly by CLICKING HERE – takes you to my recent articles, photos, gossip and stuff from his Mum!)
A Tina Tuner song was not what we expected, and yet it worked and we finally got to see some of his dance moves again.
Simon gave him a standing ovation, and Cheryl had to admit that the performance and song choice was great, even though she didnt want to give Simon the compliment.  She told Ollie “That’s your best performance so far”  Simon had already complimented him last week saying about his similarity to Robbie Williams “You remind me of Robbie you’ve got that charm about you” so he must be really chuffed to be mentoring him.
Danni said she had been catching Olly is the corridoor and asking him to ‘do that thing with your legs” which he then did again for her from the stage, and Simon was very happy.  He said he was “fun, different and original!  “in a different league”  Dermot called it “The Ollie Shuffle”
During the mentoring session with Whitney Houston, Whitney suggested he might “Do the tina thing, you know with your shoulders”
Unfortunately, Louis Walsh was not there tonight, as he was attending the funeral of Stephen Gately today in Ireland.  Our thoughts are with Louis, the family and friends of Stephen at this very sad time.
Well done Olly for your performance tonight!  We particulary liked the clips of you as a child, singing and dancing in the living room – what a cute boy!
Olly was very polite on stage and sent his thanks to everyone who voted and said he was really happy.
