La Tasca Spanish Tapas restaurant review, Southend on Sea, Essex

I have been to the ‘La Tasca’ at Chemsford, which was very good. I have been to Spain many times, though, so tend not to try too many Spanish restaurants, as they are never the same as the authentic food served out there. However, this chain does try, and offers a good selection of tapas at reasonable prices.

We had a fish dish, mixed salad, calamari and a few other dishes, and I thought they did a good job, serving tasty, well proportioned tapas which we enjoyed.

They do some fabulous deals too, which is good for the budget.
