BEWARE! I used ‘Music Magpie’ to earn money for my clothes and they stole half of them!

I want to share my awful experience with Music Magpie and wish to warm anyone thinking of using them of how they stole my clothes…

I sent a box of labelled clothes to them, realised there were issues and began sending them my complaint…

“I wish to cancel my order and want my items returned immediately! I will pay for them to be returned.

I am disgusted with this service.

I waited in all day last Tuesday until 5.15pm when the courier came, which was ‘Parcel Force’, NOT a named and badged individual from Music Magpie.

I then wait for my funds. Then Friday I get an email saying that you haven’t even got the items yet which was total lies…

Then, I see you have decided that half my clothes are not being paid for, due to rips and stains!!! Those clothes are in perfect order, are good labels and I took a lot of time to check them as I am not a time waster and do not own any stained, or ripped clothing.

I was advised I would receive over £33 for my items and now am being told you will only pay £18 for them.”

I put in four complaints and received no replies at all. Eventually, a week after the last complaint, I received one to say:

‘Unfortunately once items are with us they cannot be returned. Our terms and conditions clearly state that any items that do not meet our quality standards wont be returned and we will not offer payment on them. I would now advise you to go ahead and verify your bank details so that we can authorise the payment.’

I know they don’t usually return items, but they have blatently, in my eyes, stolen my clothes and I would never ever use them again. I will also advise anyone I know to avoid them, if that is the kind of ‘customer service’ they provide, or lack of. They prey on the needy; the types who need quick money for stuff 🙁

No wonder they have enough money to fund TV adverts – it comes from us, their ripped off customers! I am not the only one – when I googled it, there are many victims!
